Youth Programs

Programs for children and youth

RCMP-led programs that build relationships between officers and young people across Dieppe, Moncton, and Riverview.

In schools

School Visits

Officers visit classrooms for age-appropriate presentations on safety, online safety, and the role of police. Topics, age groups, and how teachers request a visit — to be supplied by the Community Policing team.

Volunteer Opportunities

Citizens on Patrol

Support policing in your community as a Citizen on Patrol — a trained civilian volunteer who patrols neighbourhoods to spot and report suspicious activity.

What volunteers do

  • Neighbourhood patrols in pairs, on a schedule that works for you.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity — volunteers never intervene.

What's involved

  • Free training provided.
  • A police record check — we'll help with the process.
  • A minimum commitment of [hours] per [period].

Express your interest

Tell us a bit about yourself and a coordinator will follow up. The sign-up form arrives in the forms pass.

Request a Presentation

Community Policing presentations

Officers are available to present to schools, workplaces, community groups, and faith organisations on a range of topics.

Available topics

Illustrative — the actual topic list will be confirmed by the Community Policing team.

  • Crime prevention for residents.
  • Fraud awareness for seniors.
  • Drug education for parents and teens.
  • Internet safety for youth.
  • What the RCMP does, and how to interact with police.
  • Don't see your topic? Ask — we'll see what we can do.

Ready to request?

The full request form — audience, topic, preferred dates, location, and contact details — is being finalized with the Community Policing team.
